Newsletter

If you subscribe to the mailing list, your email address and your first and last name are stored. They are used for one purpose only: to send you occasional updates about new work, exhibitions and art fairs. Your details are never sold, rented or shared for anyone else’s marketing.

The mailing list is handled by Mailchimp (Intuit Mailchimp), a company based in the United States, which means your data is transferred outside the European Union. Mailchimp provides safeguards for this transfer under its own data processing terms.

Every mailing contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and your details are removed. You can also email me and I will remove them for you. Your details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Contact

If you send a message through the contact form or by email, your name, email address and message are used only to reply to you. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is relevant and then deleted.

Visitor statistics

This site keeps simple visitor statistics — which pages are viewed, which site a visitor came from, which browser and country. These statistics are stored on this website’s own server and are not shared with anyone. They are used to understand which work draws interest, never to identify individual visitors. There is no Google Analytics on this site.

Spam protection

The forms on this site are protected against spam by Google reCAPTCHA. To do its work, reCAPTCHA receives your IP address and information about how you interact with the page. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that data.

Cookies

This site places only the functional cookies WordPress needs in order to work. There are no advertising cookies and no cookies that follow you across other websites.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to its use. Email contact@lisannehoogerwerf.nl and I will act on it.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
